CME Celebrates Four NECA SA-NT Electrical Apprentice Finalists

CME is thrilled to announce that it has won the Lighting Design & Construct Award and the Perpetual Award for Best South Australian Project at the NECA SA/NT Awards. This is a significant win at the 2024 NECA SA/NT Excellence Awards for our innovative lighting design, delivery, and sustainability approach.

This prestigious accolade is a testament to CME’s continued focus on redefining what’s possible in the electrical and stadia lighting industry. Through collaboration with industry leaders and an unwavering commitment to excellence, CME has once again demonstrated its ability to overcome complex project challenges while delivering superior outcomes.

Challenged with a tight completion deadline and the unique task of ascending 70 meters twice daily, CME successfully decommissioned 532 lights and installed 300 new LED lights across four lighting towers. The development of a unique abseil delivery option, coupled with meticulous safety protocols and stringent working at-height training, underscored CME’s unwavering commitment to worker safety. This lighting tower upgrade project stands as a testament to CME's innovation, quality, and teamwork, setting a high benchmark for the industry.
